A leading Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Solaris Engineer and Mulesoft Specialist to provide operational support and specialist expertise across enterprise UNIX and integration platforms. The successful candidate will join a high-performing Cloud and Platform Systems team and be offered an initial 12 month contract with a possibility of extensions within a collaborative and technically mature environment, based in ACT with flexible working arrangements.

The successful Senior Solaris Engineer and Mulesoft Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing operational maintenance and administration of Solaris, UNIX and Linux enterprise environments
• Supporting and administering the Mulesoft Cloudhub and Anypoint platforms, including deployments, certificates, networking and user management
• Designing and implementing Solaris and Linux based solutions using tools such as Ansible and OLAM
• Performing system installation, patching, upgrades and hardening across SPARC and x86 environments

The successful Senior Solaris Engineer and Mulesoft Specialist will have experience in the following:

• Strong expertise in Oracle Solaris (including zones and automated installer)
• Experience with Redhat, Oracle Linux and Ubuntu builds, upgrades and system hardening
• Mulesoft platform administration across Cloudhub and Anypoint environments
• Solaris SPARC infrastructure design and third-party software implementation (Solaris Cluster, OLAM, Ansible)
