One of Australia’s leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage experienced Cyber Security Architects to support secure system design, risk assessment, and enterprise security uplift initiatives. The successful candidates will be offered a 12-month contract with 2x 12 month extensions and lucrative hourly rate, based in Canberra, ACT.

The successful Cyber Security Architects will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing secure architecture frameworks aligned with ISM, PSPF, and NIST standards.
• Conducting threat modelling and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies.
• Providing expert security advice across cloud, infrastructure, and application projects.
• Supporting compliance, incident response, and continuous security improvement initiatives.

The successful Cyber Security Architects will have experience in the following:

• Cyber security architecture, secure system design, and risk assessment.
• Strong knowledge of government security frameworks (ISM, PSPF, NIST).
• Cloud security and identity & access management (IAM).
• Stakeholder engagement and ability to translate complex security concepts.
