A prominent Federal Government organisation is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Technical Training Specialist (Lead Cyber Security Content Designer) to join a high-performing team. This is a unique opportunity to design and deliver impactful cyber security training programs, supporting users to enhance their cyber awareness and technical capability. The successful specialist will contribute to developing engaging training content aligned with strategic objectives while supporting broader cyber security initiatives. This role offers an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions and is based onsite in the ACT.

The successful Cyber Security Technical Training Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop, refresh and maintain hands-on cyber security training courseware aligned with security standards
• Deliver engaging training sessions and create online learning materials for a range of user groups
• Contribute to the development of digital training content including videos and public-facing courses
• Ensure training content improves user awareness and aligns with Information Security Manual requirements

To be successful, the Cyber Security Technical Training Specialist will demonstrate:

• Ability to communicate complex cyber security concepts to diverse audiences with varying technical understanding
• Experience developing or delivering hands-on technical training, including security concepts and methodologies
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to translate technical content into business-friendly language
• Proven capability in designing effective learning content aligned to organisational and user needs
