A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Performance Tester to join a high-performing technology team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the testing and optimisation of critical systems that support national operations. The successful Senior Performance Tester will work across key projects delivering performance, load and non-functional testing, while supporting ongoing enhancements and BAU activities. The Senior Performance Tester will be offered an initial 12-month contract with extenion options up to 24 months, based in Canberra with flexible working arrangements available.

The successful Senior Performance Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Develop and execute performance test strategies, plans and test cases across complex systems.
• Conduct performance, load and stress testing using tools such as LoadRunner.
• Analyse test results, manage defects and provide detailed reporting to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers and vendors to ensure quality outcomes

To be successful, the Senior Performance Tester will demonstrate:

• Strong experience in performance testing, including tools such as LoadRunner or similar.
• Experience with API testing, database querying and test automation tools.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps environments and full SDLC processes.
• Ability to manage test activities, defect tracking and stakeholder communication effectively.
