We are seeking experienced Clinicians / Mental Health Practitioners to provide high quality clinical services in a dynamic national contact centre environment. As part of a dedicated team, you will provide individual, couples, and family counselling to help improve resilience as well as enhance mental health wellbeing. This is a 12 month contract based in Melbourne, VIC, with the possibility of a 12-month extension. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available, with a 24/7 rotating roster.

The successful Clinicians / Mental Health Practitioners will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Delivering intake, triage, risk assessment, and brief evidence-based counselling interventions via a national telephone service.
  • Providing referrals to regional offices, community providers, and specialist services to ensure holistic client support.
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client records, care plans, and risk assessments using the Client Management System.
  • Participating in Continuing Professional Development (CPD), clinical supervision, and regular team case reviews to ensure best-practice care.

The successful Clinicians / Mental Health Practitioners must have:

  • A current Working with Vulnerable People registration or Working with Children check or the ability to obtain
  • One of the following: Registered Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurse (AHPRA), Social Worker (AASW), or Masters-level counselling qualification (PACFA or ACA registration).
  • Demonstrated experience providing mental health intake, assessment, and brief intervention in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage critical incidents calmly and effectively.
  • Strong IT proficiency and ability to work in a call centre environment.
