One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is seeking multiple Senior Test Analysts to support the delivery of a range of ICT projects. These roles are crucial in ensuring the quality and reliability of systems and digital solutions. Successful candidates will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop test cases, perform manual testing, and uphold high software standards and best practices. The successful Senior Test Analysts will be offered a 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extensions!

The successful Senior Test Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Reviewing business and functional requirements and designing comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Conducting manual testing across web-based applications, including functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
• Identifying, recording, and tracking defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring documentation such as test plans, summary reports, and traceability matrices are accurate and complete.
• Participating in Agile activities such as sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, while suggesting process improvements.

The successful Senior Test Analysts will have experience in the following:

• 5+ years of experience in manual testing across diverse domains, including desktop applications and cloud-based platforms.
• Proven expertise in creating and executing detailed test artefacts, test strategies, and managing defects, with knowledge of Agile principles and practices.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
• Experience with grants administration or financial systems, accessibility testing (WCAG), government digital service standards, and exposure to automation testing tools will be highly regarded.
