A Federal Government department is seeking Senior Test Analysts to play a pivotal role in a large-scale greenfield transformation program spanning CRM, Data Analytics, Cyber, Integration, and IT Service Management platforms. This opportunity offers flexibility to be based in ACT, NSW, VIC, or QLD, with an initial 12-month contract, a further 12-month extension option, and hybrid work arrangements.

The successful Senior Test Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing, developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for assigned program systems.
• Reviewing requirements, specifications and design documents to provide meaningful QA insights.
• Identifying, documenting and tracking defects using tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
• Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and collaborating closely with business analysts and developers to resolve issues.
• Participating in Agile ceremonies and contributing to usability and accessibility improvements.

The successful Senior Test Analysts will have experience in the following:

• 5+ years’ experience in software testing/QA within complex environments.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, lifecycle processes, and QA best practices.
• Proven ability to design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and scripts.
• Proficiency with defect tracking tools (JIRA, GitHub, Azure DevOps) and experience supporting UAT.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with desirable exposure to automation, scripting (Python/JavaScript), and government/enterprise projects.
