A Federal Government agency is seeking a Senior Automation Tester to join a large-scale digital transformation program. This role will focus on designing, developing, and maintaining automated test frameworks across complex enterprise applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and integrated REST API services. The successful candidate will join a highly technical team environment, securing an initial contract until 30 June 2026 with extension options and excellent career development opportunities.

The Senior Automation Tester will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing and developing test automation frameworks using C# .NET, Playwright, and SpecFlow (BDD).
• Building and maintaining automated tests for Dynamics 365 CRM UI and REST API functionalities.
• Integrating and managing automated test execution within Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Administering test assets in Git-based repositories and using Docker for test environment orchestration.
• Collaborating with Test Managers and stakeholders to deliver a measurable uplift in test coverage and quality.

The Senior Automation Tester will have experience in the following:

• Strong hands-on experience in C# .NET, Playwright, and BDD frameworks (SpecFlow or similar).
• Proven ability to develop and maintain automated UI and API tests in an Azure DevOps environment.
• Experience working with Git, Docker, and NuGet for managing test frameworks and environments.
• Understanding of secure authentication, authorisation, and test data management practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
