A Federal Government agency is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support the design and implementation of a new enterprise Program and Project Management and Reporting Tool (PPMRT). The successful Senior Business Analyst will be offered an initial 6-month contract with a 6-month extension, based in ACT or QLD with hybrid work arrangements.

The successful Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Analyse current project management processes and gather business requirements.
• Engage stakeholders to validate and communicate requirements.
• Document workflows and create detailed requirement specifications.
• Align requirements with delivery scope and lead workshops.
• Evaluate systems and recommend suitable PPMRT solutions.

The successful Senior Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Leading advanced modelling activities for major change programs that span multiple business functions.
• Analysing and designing business processes to identify alternative solutions that enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and leverage emerging technologies and automation.
• Providing expert advice on approaches and techniques for analysing complex business situations.
• Collaborating with and facilitating stakeholder groups, both formally and informally, to gather insights and drive alignment.
• Planning and leading scoping, requirements definition, and prioritisation activities for large-scale, complex initiatives.
