A leading Federal Government agency is seeking multiple Lead Data Analysts to support the development and maintenance of strategic data assets and analytics infrastructure. The successful Lead Data Analysts will secure a contract to 30 June 2026 with a 12-month extension option and hybrid work flexibility.

The successful Lead Data Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Delivering customer-focused analytical insights by uncovering trends and patterns in structured and unstructured data.
• Creating intuitive data visualisations to communicate complex analytics effectively.
• Performing data discovery, cleaning, and pruning to ensure high-quality, relevant datasets.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement and producing concise management reports.
• Triaging code and data issues while applying data quality techniques to support ETL processes.

The successful Lead Data Analysts will have experience in the following:

• Over 5 years of experience working as a Data Analyst.
• Expert knowledge in producing data outputs, products, or services and developing new solutions to meet evolving needs.
• Strong ability to identify research questions and assess data gaps using a range of techniques.
• Proficiency in integrating data using standard tools, implementing quality controls, and modifying existing code for data integration.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, liaise with both business and technical stakeholders, and collaborate with subject matter experts.
