A leading Federal Government agency is seeking multiple Senior Software Engineers lead the development and enhancement of enterprise data systems and ETL processes. The successful Senior Software Engineers will secure a contract to 30 June 2026 with a 12-month extension option and hybrid work flexibility.

The successful Senior Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Designing, developing, testing, and documenting ETL processes and enterprise data solutions.
• Performing system analysis, data profiling, and impact assessments to support robust integration.
• Leading code reviews, quality assurance, and implementation of development standards.
• Producing technical specifications, system designs, and deployment plans.
• Collaborating with stakeholders and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality software delivery.

The successful Senior Software Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Extensive experience in software development, systems integration, and technical leadership.
• Proven ability to adopt and implement software development methods, tools, and standards.
• Strong background in ETL development, particularly within Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) environments.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, IBM Infosphere DataStage, and scripting tools (Perl, UNIX Shell).
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code, ITIL frameworks, and cloud-based deployment practices.
