A Federal Government department is seeking a Senior Storage Infrastructure Specialist to optimise and support a high-performance Dell PowerScale and Isilon environment. This role is critical to maintaining and enhancing a petabyte-scale storage platform that underpins department workflows.

The successful Senior Storage Infrastructure Specialist will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Conduct a full technical audit of the current storage architecture, identifying risks and providing strategic recommendations.
• Develop architecture diagrams and operational runbooks for storage administration and maintenance.
• Forecast capacity and growth, recommending scalable and efficient storage solutions.
• Optimise cluster configurations and data services including SmartPools, SnapshotIQ, and SyncIQ.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks across SMB/NFS protocols.

The successful Senior Storage Infrastructure Specialist will have experience in the following:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Dell PowerScale and Isilon (OneFS 8.x/9.x).
• Proven ability to design and optimise enterprise-scale storage environments.
• Deep understanding of scale-out NAS architecture, tiering strategies, and data services.
• Strong documentation and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Knowledge of storage security, data protection, and lifecycle management.
