A Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Lead Business Architect to shape business capabilities and technology strategy for nationally significant programs. The Successful Lead Business Architect will secure an initial 12-month contract with up to two years of extension options, based in Canberra with flexible hybrid arrangements.

The successful Lead Business Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• Engage with executive stakeholders to define strategies and solutions.
• Collaborate with business leaders and IT teams to design architecture for major capabilities.
• Analyse complex business problems and develop outcome maps and roadmaps.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture patterns and stay across emerging technologies.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge transfer within a small, collaborative team.

The successful Lead Business Architect must have experience in the following:

• Strong background in business architecture, consultancy, and strategic planning.
• Ability to engage with executive-level stakeholders to define vision, strategies, and solutions.
• Proven capability to analyse complex business architecture problems and develop intent outcome maps and strategic roadmaps.
• Experience contributing to enterprise architecture patterns and ICT infrastructure architecture.
• Familiarity with SFIA frameworks and information security principles highly regarded.
