A major Federal Government program is seeking an experienced Release Manager to lead the design, delivery, and maturity of release capability from the ground up. This greenfield initiative spans CRM, Data Analytics, Cyber, Integration, and IT Service Management platforms. The role offers flexibility to work from ACT, NSW, VIC, or QLD, with hybrid arrangements and an initial 12 month contract plus a 12 month extension option.

The successful Release Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Establish and maintain Release Management plans, processes, and governance models.
• Schedule, coordinate, and manage releases across multiple platforms and applications.
• Conduct readiness and Go/No-Go reviews, and produce deployment/run books.
• Collaborate with delivery partners, test teams, and engineers to ensure quality gates and smooth implementation.
• Provide regular release reporting, manage risks/issues, and drive continuous improvement.

The successful Release Manager will have experience in the following:

• 5–8 years’ experience in Release Management within greenfield and enterprise environments.
• Strong knowledge of release processes, project management, and governance frameworks.
• Experience managing releases for CRM, data, and integration platforms with complex integrations.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and certifications (Project Management or Agile).
• Testing framework experience and prior work in Federal or State Government will be highly regarded.
