A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Analytics Business Analyst to support nationally significant enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives. The successful Business Analyst will work within a mature, well-governed analytics team delivering high-quality data and insights that inform strategic decision-making across the organisation and will be offered an initial contract until 30 June with the view to extend.

The successful Senior Analytics Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Engaging stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, analyse and document analytics and reporting requirements
• Translating requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps and functional specifications
• Designing and iterating dashboard wireframes and supporting data storytelling to drive insight and adoption
• Working closely with BI developers to ensure feasibility and alignment with enterprise data models

The successful Senior Analytics Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Interpreting data models, data lineage and source-to-report flows
• Analytics and reporting delivery lifecycles, including dashboard design and wireframing
• Working with data warehouses and enterprise BI platforms
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills within complex environments
