A leading Federal Government department is seeking experienced Cyber Security Engineers / Platform Specialists (Principal Security Engineers) to join a high-performing Cyber Sustainment team. This role will play a key part in stabilising and uplifting the security posture across multiple cyber security platforms while ensuring continuity of critical IT systems. The successful Cyber Security Engineers / Platform Specialists will be offered a 12 month contract + 2 x 12-month extensions, based in ACT, with hybrid working arrangements (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).

The successful Cyber Security Engineers / Platform Specialists will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing technical leadership across cyber security platforms and infrastructure
• Supporting and maintaining Linux environments (RHEL, RedHat Satellite, IDM, OpenShift)
• Managing Application Control technologies (Carbon Black, WDAC)
• Administering Privileged Access Management solutions (MFA, RSA, Delinea Secret Server)
• Managing Active Directory Certificate Services (PKI) and certificate lifecycles

The successful Cyber Security Engineers / Platform Specialists will have experience in the following:

• Linux/RHEL administration and automation using Ansible
• Application Control and endpoint protection platforms
• Privileged Access Management and multi-factor authentication solutions
• Public Key Infrastructure (AD CS) within enterprise environments
• VMware, Citrix, PowerShell scripting, OpenShift, Nutanix or Windows Server platforms (desirable)
