A leading Federal Government agency is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic Technology Services Division delivering innovative SAS solutions within a large-scale national program. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of modern cloud and DevOps practices that enhance platform performance, security and scalability within a complex enterprise environment. This role is available Australia-wide and offers hybrid working arrangements for an initial 12 month contract, with a further 12 month extension.

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing technical advice and direction as an application security SME
• Assisting in the design, development and compliance of applications and AWS platforms
• Designing and developing CI/CD pipelines to support end-to-end system delivery
• Collaborating with Cyber Security and product teams to align security with business objectives

The successful Senior DevOps Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Kubernetes Administrator/DevOps Engineer with strong AWS automation expertise
• Demonstrated experience implementing RBAC within AWS environments
• Experience developing REST APIs using Golang or Python
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and CI/CD technologies
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes-based applications
