A leading Federal Government agency is seeking highly skilled and motivated Senior DevOps Engineers to work within high-performing DevOps and Platform teams driving secure, scalable and automated delivery across complex enterprise ecosystems. These roles are available Australia-wide and offer hybrid working arrangements for an initial 6 month contract, with a further 2 x 12 month extension.

The successful Senior DevOps Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and toolsets, supporting Azure pipeline development, cloud migration, and database deployment automation.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration to ensure consistent, reliable environment management.
• Configure and manage Windows application servers and IIS web applications, ensuring optimal performance and stability.
• Maintain clear documentation and standard operating procedures while continuously identifying and implementing process improvements across DevOps workflows.
• Collaborate effectively with internal and external teams, providing mentorship and managing workload to meet project deadlines.

The successful Senior DevOps Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Strong IT infrastructure background with deep expertise in DevOps methodologies, cloud architecture, and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Proficient in CI/CD pipeline development, automation, and code quality practices, including the use of static analysis tools like SonarQube.
• Skilled in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), artifact repositories (JFrog Artifactory), and implementing container security best practices.
• Effective project management and client-facing capabilities, consistently delivering solutions on time, within budget, and with excellent customer service.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, able to troubleshoot complex technical issues and drive high-quality, reliable outcomes.
