A prominent Federal Government Department is seeking experienced Senior Test Specialists to join a high-performing Quality Assurance team supporting critical ICT platforms and enterprise business systems. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the sustainment, reliability and continuous improvement of complex cloud, SaaS and bespoke on-premise applications within a secure government environment. The successful Senior Test Analysts will work across multiple project teams to ensure systems are fit for purpose, aligned to governance standards and delivered to a high level of quality. These roles offer an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options.

The successful Senior Test Specialists will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Planning and driving testing activities across all stages of product, systems and service development lifecycles
• Preparing and executing detailed test cases, managing defects and maintaining comprehensive test artefacts using enterprise toolsets
• Providing authoritative advice on test strategy, automation approaches, risk assessment and quality governance
• Coordinating with technical teams, business stakeholders and project managers to ensure delivery of secure, reliable and compliant ICT solutions

The successful Senior Test Specialists will have experience in the following:

• ISTQB Foundation (or higher) certification with 8+ years’ experience in complex ICT testing environments
• Experience testing Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) and bespoke developed applications
• Strong experience using tools such as Azure DevOps for test planning, execution and defect management
• Experience testing REST/SOAP web services and web applications, ideally within cloud or Salesforce environments
