A leading Federal Government organisation is seeking to engage a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a high-performing federal department. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in delivering application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management across modern cloud and endpoint platforms. The successful Senior Infrastructure Engineer will secure an initial 12-month contract with extension options, based in ACT with hybrid working arrangements.

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Developing and maintaining application packages across Windows environments
• Managing software lifecycle including patching and version control (N-1 compliance)
• Collaborating with SOE engineers to improve user experience outcomes
• Supporting deployment, testing, and BAU activities across cloud platforms
• Working with cyber teams to ensure vulnerability management and patching standards are met

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience with Microsoft Intune & SCCM (Win32 / MSIX packaging)
• Experience working within Windows 11 SOE environments
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and firewalls
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and packaging tools (PSADT, InstallShield, Orca, etc.)
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills
