A Key Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Application Tester/ Migration Test Analyst to contribute to a large-scale, high-impact 3-year modernisation program. This is an opportunity to work on a long-term initiative modernising critical systems and services, where you will engage closely with stakeholders and operate within a fast paced, Agile, highly complex, and secure environment.

The Successful Application Tester/ Migration Test Analyst  will be responsible for but not limited to; 

• Deliver testing activities in alignment with the endorsed Program Testing Strategy and QA governance frameworks.
• Plan and execute testing across applications, platforms, and integrations, with an initial focus on M365 solutions.
• Data Migration testing specific to Apps/Systems those are integrated with databases.
• Apply and tailor testing approaches and techniques to suit project and program needs, while adhering to security, compliance, and environmental constraints.
• Analyse business and technical requirements to ensure appropriate test coverage and Risk Based testing.
• Test artefacts management.

 The successful Application Tester/ Migration Test Analyst will have experience in the following: 

• End-to-end application testing across SDLC/STLC, covering functional and non-functional requirements.
• Migration testing with validation of data, content, and functionality across environments.
• Testing of enterprise platform migrations, including Microsoft 365 (SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Exchange Online).
• Validation of information management and data protection controls, including DLP and sensitivity labels.
• Testing of applications integrated with databases, ensuring data integrity and system interoperability.
• Creation and management of test artefacts and defect tracking using Azure DevOps, including RTM and test reporting.
