We are seeking Automation Testers to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Automation Testers will play a key role in supporting the delivery of key ICT projects, working across digital solutions, test strategy, test automation, accessibility compliance and stakeholder engagement within multidisciplinary delivery teams. The successful Automation Testers will secure a 12-month contract with 2x12 month extension options, based in Canberra.

The Automation Testers will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Creating and overseeing test plans and test strategies with Azure DevOps
• Writing, reviewing and executing test cases for web-based applications
• Raising, logging and tracking defects and issues using departmental tools including Azure DevOps
• Supporting the implementation of automation testing practices and providing input into broader testing strategy
• Leading business stakeholders throughout the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) process

The Automation Testers will have experience in the following:

• Experience in automation testing and demonstrated background in application/system testing roles
• Expertise in developing test artefacts including complex test plans, test cases and test strategies
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
• Experience working in a fast-paced agile environment across geographically dispersed teams
• Knowledge of testing digital solutions for WCAG conformance
