We are seeking a Solution Design Manager/Lead Systems Analyst to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Solution Design Manager/Lead Systems Analyst  will play a key role in translating business needs into technical solutions, leading solution design activities, driving innovation, and supporting the ongoing uplift of enterprise application services. The successful Solution Design Manager/Lead Systems Analyst  will secure a 12-month contract with 2x12 month extension options, based in ACT, NSW, VIC, SA or QLD.

 The Solution Design Manager/Lead Systems Analyst will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Leading solution design activities for complex ICT systems and strategic programs
• Translating business requirements into fit-for-purpose technical solutions aligned to architecture
• Reviewing existing applications and identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Overseeing technical documentation, business process flows, and strategic planning activities
• Driving continuous improvement, change initiatives and alignment to ICT strategies

 The Solution Design Manager/Lead Systems Analyst  will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in systems analysis, solution design and requirements management
• Strong ability to lead requirements definition, prioritisation and system design
• Experience with business process modelling, including AS IS and TO BE process flows
• Knowledge & experience of SDLC and Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Experience using tools such as JIRA, HP ALM, SharePoint and the Microsoft Office suite
