One of Australia’s leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Angular Developer to join a high-performing delivery team working on modern, user-centred digital solutions that support large-scale service delivery. The role involves working in an Agile, multidisciplinary environment, contributing to the design and delivery of high-quality software solutions. The successful Angular Developer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with extension options up to 24 months.

The successful Angular Developer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Undertake analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing and maintenance activities across frontend applications.
• Define software and technical designs for complex custom solutions, including integrations with backend systems and RESTful APIs.
• Provide technical support to development teams to deliver high-quality ICT solutions in Agile environments.
• Ensure excellent quality, compliance with endorsed software development methodologies, and strong documentation standards.
• Provide go-live support and ongoing maintenance for developed solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and senior staff to ensure effective and timely delivery outcomes.

The successful Angular Developer will have experience in the following:

• Strong hands-on experience with Angular (v20+), TypeScript, and JavaScript.
• Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design principles, and CSS frameworks such as Bootstrap.
• Experience working in Agile environments and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks (e.g. Jest) and version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of Business Driven Development (BDD) is highly regarded.
