We are seeking Network Engineer to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Network Engineer will play a key role in delivering and supporting modern enterprise networking capabilities across a large-scale technology program. The successful Network Engineer will secure an initial contract until June 2026 with 2x12 month extension options, based in Canberra, ACT.

The Network Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Supporting enterprise network engineering activities across complex and secure environments
• Delivering and maintaining routing, firewall and cloud networking solutions
• Contributing to Zero Trust network architecture and modern network security uplift initiatives
• Supporting SD-WAN and Software Defined Access Layer capabilities
• Assisting with the delivery and optimisation of Azure cloud networking environments

The Network Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience with Enterprise Routing, including BGP
• Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture
• Experience with Software Defined Access Layer technologies
• Experience with Juniper Technology Stack (Mist)
• Experience with Palo Alto Technology Stack, including virtual and physical firewalls
