One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Data Governance Program Manager to establish and uplift data governance capabilities within a complex federal government organisation. The successful Data Governance Program Manager will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Data Governance Program Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to

• Establish and document data ownership, stewardship, and accountability arrangements.
• Develop and maintain visibility of key datasets, data flows, integrations, and dependencies.
• Define and document critical data elements and quality expectations.
• Develop standards and guidance for the appropriate use of sensitive & personal information

The successful Data Governance Program Manager will have experience in the following:

• Working across business, technology and governance stakeholder groups.
• Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, data quality and stewardship concepts.
• Experience with Salesforce or large CRM platforms.
• Experience within Australian Government or other highly regulated environments.
