One of Australia's prominent Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Program Architect to guide and support solution and cyber architects, alongside responsibility for ongoing development of system architecture roadmaps and blueprints for multiple projects within a within a complex federal government organisation. The successful Program Architect will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Program Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Deliver high quality solution architectures that are fit for business purpose.
• Work closely with Enterprise Architecture team to align solution designs with the broader strategy and direction of the Agency goals and objectives and program reference models, principles, policies, standards, and roadmaps.
• Provide mentoring, reviews, feedback and support to a group of experienced solution and cyber architects, including coaching, performance reviews and assurance over their designs.
• Maintain technical oversight and help solve complex issues arising during project delivery, balancing tactical and strategic goals..
• Facilitate technical decision making and chair various Architecture Governance and Design forums.

The successful Program Architect will have experience in the following:

• Proven record of accomplishment in leading architecture solution development with at least five years\' experience operating as a lead architect.
• Broad technical & architectural background delivering solution architectures for projects; experience balancing project and program, and organisational goals, as well as tactical and strategic drivers.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, listening, communication and stakeholder and team management skills
• Ability to translate business capabilities requirements into technology requirements and solution designs and development of strategic roadmaps and design documentation.
