A Federal Government Department is seeking a Senior SOE Engineer / Lead Supporting Architect to join a large-scale End User Compute (EUC) transformation initiative. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and delivering modern endpoint and SOE services, while contributing to a broader cloud transformation program. The successful Senior SOE Engineer / Lead Supporting Architect will be offered an initial contract through to 30 June 2027 with a 12-month extension option.

The successful Senior SOE Engineer / Lead Supporting Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading the design, build, and implementation of modern SOE and endpoint management solutions across Windows and mobile platforms.
• Managing and optimising Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and associated endpoint management capabilities.
• Developing modern device provisioning approaches leveraging cloud-native deployment methodologies.
• Implementing endpoint security baselines, compliance controls, and device management policies.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams while contributing to architectural design decisions and enterprise standards.

The successful Senior SOE Engineer / Lead Supporting Architect will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience delivering modern endpoint management and SOE solutions within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, Microsoft Entra ID, and modern workplace technologies.
• Experience designing and implementing cloud-native endpoint management solutions across Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Strong understanding of endpoint security, device hardening, compliance frameworks, and Essential Eight implementation.
• Proven ability to operate in senior engineering or technical leadership roles, engaging effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
