An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Technology Architect to drive technology strategy, architecture design and solution delivery within a large and complex Federal Government environment. Working closely with business and technical stakeholders, you will translate business requirements into secure, scalable and integrated technology solutions while providing architectural leadership across infrastructure, cloud and hybrid environments.

The successful Lead Technology Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Translating business and ICT requirements into conceptual, logical and end-to-end solution architectures.
• Developing technology roadmaps, architecture artefacts and strategic recommendations that support organisational priorities.
• Providing architectural guidance, technical leadership and governance across complex technology initiatives.
• Assessing emerging technologies, identifying capability gaps and recommending future-state technology solutions.
• Managing architecture risks, resolving complex technical issues and supporting executive decision-making.
• Building strong relationships with stakeholders and promoting innovation, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.

The successful Lead Technology Architect will have experience in the following:

• Strong experience delivering enterprise, solution, infrastructure or platform architecture within large and complex environments.
• Demonstrated ability to analyse complex business and technology challenges and develop pragmatic, risk-based recommendations.
• Experience across cloud, on-premises and hybrid infrastructure environments, including compute, storage, networking, hosting and virtualisation technologies.
• Strong knowledge of architecture frameworks, governance practices and architecture modelling tools.
• Experience designing secure, scalable, resilient and cost-effective technology solutions aligned with enterprise standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to present architectural advice to senior leaders and governance forums.
