A high-profile Federal Government Agency is looking to engage Two Lead Data Engineers to join an established team. You will be responsible for supporting a high profile Cyber Program. The Lead Data Engineers must understand Python development, work confidently with large data sets, and have knowledge of internet-scale data. The successful Lead Data Engineers will receive an initial 12 months contract with the view to be extended for 2 years and a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Lead Data Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design and develop software and cloud infrastructure for microservices.
• Maintain accuracy of scanning and attribution data.
• Write code following best practices: source control, Infrastructure as Code, testing, and code reviews.
• Support the team with data consumption and output maintenance.
• Assist with planning, data analysis, and high-priority tasks for the program.

The successful Lead Data Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Experience automating processes in cloud based systems.
• Development using the Python programming language or Terraform infrastructure as code.
• Working effectively with a team of developers.
• Experience with Linux and IP networking.
• Experience with SQL databases.
