A prominent Federal Government agency is seeking experienced Senior Site Reliability Engineers to support a major digital integrity transformation program focused on enhancing reliability, automation, and performance of mission-critical systems. The successful Senior Site Reliability Engineers will be engaged on an initial 12-month contract, with a further 12-month extension, and flexible hybrid work arrangements across ACT, NSW, QLD, or VIC.

The successful Senior Site Reliability Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading end-to-end site reliability across product teams including observability, preventative stability measures, and performance optimisation
• Planning and implementing automation to reduce manual intervention and streamline operations
• Collaborating with technical teams to troubleshoot, resolve system issues, and ensure secure, scalable design
• Conducting incident analysis, writing SOPs, and contributing to the architecture of reliable infrastructure

The successful Senior Site Reliability Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Strong hands-on experience building infrastructure and software systems within AWS
• Proven skills in automation, using tools such as Terraform, Git, and Helm
• Experience with container runtimes and platforms like Kubernetes and containerd
• Familiarity with monitoring platforms and frameworks including Dynatrace, Splunk, and OpenTelemetry
• Mobile monitoring experience using Dynatrace, Firebase, and Crashlytics
