A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Master Scheduler to play a pivotal role in delivering innovative, fit-for-purpose ICT solutions as part of a major government digital transformation initiative. The successful Master Scheduler will be offered an initial contract through to June 2026, with the view to extend for a further 2 x 12 months, and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Master Scheduler will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Developing and maintaining a consolidated branch-level master project schedule across multiple ICT programs.
  • Scheduling key milestones, dependencies, delivery phases and high-level timeframes.
  • Integrating workforce data and capacity constraints into realistic, achievable schedules.
  • Conducting regular schedule reviews, status updates and providing forward planning insights to support executive decision-making.
  • Identifying risks, overlaps and interdependencies across multiple ICT projects and recommending adjustments to improve delivery outcomes.

The successful Master Scheduler will have experience in the following:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in ICT infrastructure project environments, with proven ability to develop and maintain integrated program-level schedules.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, and data analysis.
  • Demonstrated experience aligning resource availability, workforce planning, and project timeframes.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with proven ability to collaborate across project managers, workforce planners, technical teams, and governance bodies.
