A high-profile Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Senior Program Scheduler/Project Officer to join their Program Management Office and support the seamless delivery of strategic initiatives. The successful Senior Program Scheduler/Project Officer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 x 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Program Scheduler/Project Officer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Developing and managing integrated program schedules and dependencies.
• Working with project teams to establish activity sequences, durations, dependencies, and critical paths.
• Monitoring, tracking, and reporting on program schedule progress, risks, and deviations.
• Conducting schedule risk analysis, health checks, and quality audits across projects..

The successful Senior Program Scheduler/Project Officer will have experience in the following:

• Experience in program, portfolio, and project scheduling on large-scale, complex programs.
• Proficiency with scheduling software tools such as ServiceNow, MS Project, or Primavera P6.
• Strong understanding of program/project management principles (P3M, MSP, Agile, PRINCE2, or equivalent).
• Agile and hybrid delivery environments.
