A high-profile Federal Government department is seeking an experienced Business Analyst  to define and document requirements for a range of infrastructure, software, and cloud-based ICT projects within the current ICT Capital Program of Work. The successful Business Analyst will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high-quality analysis and artefacts that support effective project delivery in an Agile environment.

The successful Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Leading and facilitating discussions and workshops with diverse stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of requirements.
• Translating complex concepts into clear process maps, diagrams, user stories, business cases, acceptance criteria, and other artefacts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Conducting ICT-focused business analysis, applying strong liaison, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Maintaining continuous, transparent engagement with business areas to ensure feedback and improvements are incorporated into solutions.
• Supporting the delivery of quality, fit-for-purpose outcomes across multiple concurrent projects, including cloud-based ICT initiatives.

The successful Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Proven ability to lead requirements definition for ICT projects, including cloud-based solutions.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate.
• Strong background in Agile delivery environments.
• A proactive, can-do approach, with the ability to work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams.
• Understanding of Commonwealth procurement guidelines.
