A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced Multiple Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will be responsible for a range of activities contributing to the design, build, test and operation of ICT systems and network services to support the delivery of modern mobility solutions for senior government officials.  The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Administer management and support of security software, system integration and configuration.
• Administer Secured End User Computing (EUC) Environment (Active Directory Management, Group Policy) procedures and standards
• Design, test, deploy and automate Windows operating system builds
• Develop and operate a backup and recovery service for virtualised Windows systems

The successful Senior Windows VDI System Administrators will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience or qualifications in Microsoft Server & Desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM, SCCM, AD)
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerShell scripting
• Proficient in Building, deploying and managing virtual desktop SOEs
• Proficient in Advanced Windows troubleshooting
