A high-profile Federal Government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Unified Communications Engineer to support and enhance enterprise voice, video and collaboration platforms within a secure and complex ICT environment. The role focuses on the design, implementation and support of Unified Communications systems, including voice, video and collaboration services, working closely with infrastructure, network and cybersecurity teams. This is a 12-month contract with 2 × 12-month extension options based in ACT, with hybrid working arrangements.

The successful Senior Unified Communications Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, implement and support Unified Communications solutions across voice, video and collaboration platforms.
• Act as the technical SME for UC, ensuring secure, scalable and reliable solutions.
• Develop UC roadmaps and designs in collaboration with architecture and cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain and optimise UC services, including telephony, PBX, conferencing and messaging.
• Engage stakeholders and support upgrades, resolving complex issues and improving operational performance.

The successful Senior Unified Communications Engineer will have experiences in the following:

• 10+ years’ experience designing, deploying and managing Unified Communications solutions.
• Strong stakeholder and client engagement skills in complex environments.
• Proven ability to produce clear technical designs and implementation documentation.
• Advanced diagnostic and problem-solving capability across UC platforms.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, both written and verbal.
