A dynamic Federal Government department is seeking a Senior Procurement Advisor to join a central team of procurement specialists who provide accurate and reliable procurement advice and reporting to the Department. The successful Senior Procurement Advisor will be offered an initial contract to 30 June 2026 with the view to extended and receive a rewarding hourly rate. 

The successful Senior Procurement Advisor will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Taking responsibility for the achievements of own and team outcomes, monitoring progress, and following through to ensure delivery of quality and timely outcomes
• Routine interpretation and advice in relation to procurement and contracts
• Partnering with business areas to facilitate procurement activities

 The successful Senior Procurement Advisor will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience in a similar role and expertise and knowledge in procurement and recruitment.
• Understanding of Government procurement frameworks is highly desirable
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a face paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal and liaison skills
