One of Australia’s leading Federal Government organisations is looking to engage an experienced Senior Technical Business Analyst to support the delivery, sustainment and enhancement of a complex, business critical national platform. This role sits within a high-impact program focused on modernising legacy systems and improving national service delivery outcomes. The successful candidate will join a highly specialised team and be offered a 12 month contract with 2 x 12 month extension options.

The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Monitoring, assessing and enhancing complex ICT systems to improve performance, security and reliability
• Gathering, analysing and documenting business and technical requirements
• Supporting developers and technical teams to interpret and implement business requirements
• Contributing to system improvements including UI enhancements, data quality, and automation initiatives

The successful Senior Technical Business Analyst will have experience in the following:

• Proven experience in ICT business analysis within complex enterprise environments
• Experience working within Agile and/or Waterfall delivery frameworks
• Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Experience supporting software development teams through the SDLC
