A high-profile Federal Government department is looking to engage several ETL Developers to join an established team. You will oversee software development projects, write optimised code, and provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers. The successful ETL Developers will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to extended for a further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful ETL Developers will have experience in the following:

• Develop, enhance and document procedures to assist with extract, transform and load (ETL) production support
• Analysing and resolving ETL production incidents
• Undertaking data profiling, system analysis and impact analysis
• Provide Code Review and other Quality Assurance tasks for projects and for code delivered by the Section

The successful ETL Developers will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience working as an ETL Developer.
• Proven experience in development and solution design in an Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) platform.
• Strong understanding of ETL standards, security and governance in a large enterprise wide environment.
• Demonstrated experience with IBM Infosphere DataStage and Scripting tools (Pearl, SQL, UNIX Shell)
