We are seeking Senior Automation Testers to join a high-performing Federal Government Department. The successful Automation Testers will play a key role in planning, managing and delivering automation testing activities across complex systems and services, ensuring automated tests validate functionality, environments, and quality outcomes. The successful Automation Testers will secure an initial contract until 30 June 2027 with the view to be extended for 2 years and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The Automation Testers will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Planning and managing the automation testing lifecycle across program and project constraints
• Developing automation test plans, schedules, estimates, reports and quality documentation
• Providing technical guidance on automation testing tools, environments, data and systems
• Identifying, managing and escalating testing risks, issues and dependencies
• Coaching team capability and contributing to continuous improvement

The Automation Testers will have experience in the following:

• Experience planning and driving automation testing activities across complex systems
• Experience designing, coding, verifying, testing and refactoring complex scripts
• Strong knowledge of testing methods, automated tools, standards and quality practices
• Ability to provide specialist advice and guidance on automation testing approaches
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across stakeholders
