This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced two Project Managers to join a high profile Federal Government department. The successful Project Managers will provide project management support and coordination across all project workstreams under limited direction. The successful Project Managers will be offered an initial 6 month contract with the view to be extended and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Project Managers will be responsible for, but not limited to: 

• Develop project planning, scheduling and reporting
• Maintain governance and reporting items, integrated delivery plans and workstream status dashboards.
• Surface emerging risks, issues and dependencies to the EL2 for escalation or recommendation to senior leadership.
• Provide high quality deliverables like strategy documents and PowerPoint presentations for senior leadership and teams.

The successful Project Manager will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience delivering complex, multi-stream project management in a government social policy, human services or similar environments.
• Demonstrated capacity to provide high-quality, accurate and timely reporting to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated experience assessing and improving project management maturity within a team or organisation.
• Confidence and ability to challenge existing ways of working to achieve continuous improvement and help teams plan effectively and deliver
