A high profile Federal Government Agency is looking to engage an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Security Engineer to join an established team. The successful Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for leading the strategic application of AI and relevant security controls in cyber security. The successful Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Security Engineer will be offered an initial 12 month contract with the view to be extended for the further 24 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for but not limited to;

• Act as the AI Cyber Security Lead in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of AI governance frameworks.
• Conduct AI risk assessments and identify appropriate mitigations.
• Design, document, implement and maintain AI-related controls within Microsoft 365 & associated platforms.
• Develop security standards, & procedures governing the use of AI technologies across the department.

The Artificial Intelligence (AI) Cyber Security Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Experience in AI governance, technology risk, cyber security governance, or information security.
• Experience implementing cyber security and compliance controls within Microsoft 365.
• Demonstrated understanding of AI governance frameworks, responsible AI principles, privacy and data protection requirements, risk management methodologies and cyber security controls.
• Familiarity with Australian Government frameworks such as PSPF, ISM, and Essential 8
