One of Australia's leading Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Test Lead to  lead and conduct testing activities across IT branches. You will be working closely with the Test Manager to ensure test strategy and standards are in place. The successful Test Lead will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Test Lead  will be responsible for, but not limited to

• Manage test delivery with vendors and internal staff to ensure that across projects the delivery remain within scope, schedule, cost, and quality targets as defined with project teams.
• Analyse and report on test activities and results, and escalating issues and risks to project management.
• Develop test plans, test cases and supporting test data and/or requirements, under own direction from the specifications.
• Identify, manage and document defects, programming errors and operational characteristics that are inconsistent with stated requirements and design specifications.
• Coordinate with business teams and supports them during UAT.

The successful Test Lead will have experience in the following:

• Experience leading testing activities for complex programs and creating test summary reports.
• Agile testing experience with team member accountability to commitment and delivery each sprint.
• Extensive experience using test management tools including Jira Xray and CRM, specifically Salesforce.
• Strong Test Automation experience working with automation test members.
• Exposure to AI tooling to drive test efficiencies
