One of Australia's high profile Federal Government departments is looking to engage an experienced Domain Integration Architect to develop and maintain the domain architecture, target state and transition roadmap, ensuring technology investments and solutions align with organisational strategy, enterprise architecture principles and business priorities. The successful Domain Integration Architect will secure a 12 month contract with the view to be extended for a further 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate!

The successful Domain Integration Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide authoritative architectural advice and technical leadership across programs, projects and initiatives operating within the domain.
• Lead architectural analysis of complex business and technology problems and develop strategic options, recommendations and transition approaches.
• Establish and maintain domain-level architecture principles, patterns, standards and guardrails to promote consistency, interoperability and reuse.

The successful Domain Integration Architect  will have experience in the following:

• Minimum 8+ years of experience designing and delivering complex enterprise data initiatives and solutions, with at least 3 years in an EL2 or equivalent principal architect capacity
• Demonstrated ability to translate organisational strategy, business requirements and complex technology considerations into coherent domain architecture and strategic direction
• Extensive experience developing and applying architecture principles, patterns, standards and governance to guide solutions across multiple programs, systems or delivery initiatives.
