A leading Federal Government department is looking to engage an experienced UX/UI Designer to provide detailed technical, professional, policy, operational support and advice in relation to complex problems. The successful UX/UI Designer will be offered a 12-month contract with possible extensions and hybrid working arrangements!

The successful UX/UI Designer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements, in collaboration with product and business owners.
• Conduct business, provider and participant engagement activities to maximise opportunities to co-design the requirements and outcome of each project. This includes changes to processes, systems, people and information.
• Illustrate concepts using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.

The successful UX/UI Designer will have experience in the following:

• Proven UI/UX Design Experience Demonstrated experience designing intuitive, accessible, and engaging user interfaces across system platforms.
• Proficiency in Design Tools Expertise in tools such as Figma, Sketch or similar with the ability to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
• User-Centered Design Approach Strong understanding of use-centered design principles including user research, user persons, journey mapping and usability testing.
