One of Australia's leading Federal Government agencies is looking to engage multiple experienced Application Support Software Engineers to provide critical application support across the Australian Passport Office's ICT environment. The successful Application Support Software Engineers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with 2 x 12-month extension options, working onsite in Canberra.

The successful Application Support Software Engineers will play a key role in maintaining business-critical applications, resolving complex technical issues and ensuring the ongoing reliability and performance of Passport systems.

The successful Application Support Software Engineers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 application support.
• Monitor system performance and availability.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues.
• Deploy software updates and patches.
• Support project delivery and testing activities.
• Maintain technical and operational documentation.

The successful Application Support Software Engineers will have experience in the following:

• Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Strong SQL and T-SQL database skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL service management processes.
• Experience supporting Microsoft-based environments.
