An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Lead Microservices & AI Technical Architect to provide technical and architectural leadership across a major technology modernisation program. The successful Technical Architect will help establish enterprise Microservices and Event-Driven Architecture foundations while embedding AI-enabled engineering practices across the software delivery lifecycle.

The successful Lead Microservices & AI Technical Architect will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, based in Canberra with hybrid working arrangements.

The successful Technical Architect will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Lead cloud-native, microservices and AI architecture.
• Establish AI-enabled SDLC and DevSecOps practices.
• Drive platform modernisation and containerisation.
• Lead engineering governance and capability uplift.

The successful Technical Architect will have experience in the following:

• Cloud-native, microservices and event-driven architectures.
• AI engineering and enterprise AI solution delivery.
• DevSecOps, CI/CD, automated testing and observability.
• Enterprise technology modernisation and technical leadership.
