An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data pipelines and curated datasets within a modern analytics platform. You will work across Azure, Databricks, Python/PySpark, SQL and Power BI, enabling trusted analytics and data-driven decision-making.

The successful Senior Data Engineer will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to be extended, with opportunities across QLD, ACT and NSW and hybrid working arrangements.

The successful Senior Data Engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Design, build and optimise scalable ETL and data pipelines.
• Develop data models and curated datasets for analytics.
• Improve data quality, lineage, transformation and data flows.
• Support analytics platforms through testing, automation and optimisation.

The successful Senior Data Engineer will have experience in the following:

• Microsoft Azure, Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
• Python/PySpark and SQL data engineering.
• ETL pipelines, data modelling and data quality practices.
• Analytics platforms and Power BI environments.
