One of Australia's Federal Government departments are looking to engage an experienced Software Developer to mature the existing software engineering capability to continue delivering existing software to end users, and also developing new capability. You will join a highly skilled team responsible for delivering software the ensures the security of our essential networks. The role will be based in Canberra with remote locations considered. The successful Software Developer to be offered a 12-month contract with the possibly of extension.

The successful Software Developer will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Writing C# code to deliver the technical functionality.
• Ensuring that software products are delivered on-time and to specifications.
• Developing software engineering technical artefacts
• Ensuring that code is developed using best practice principles. 

The successful Software Developer will have experience in the following:

• Developing c-sharp applications or developing cyber security tooling
• Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD solutions.
• Knowledge of penetration testing techniques is desirable
• Experience with assessing Microsoft Active Directory security.
