A prominent Federal Government department is seeking Senior Cloud Project Officers to join a major, high-impact program focused on delivering secure, hyperscale cloud capabilities to support Australia’s critical operations. The successful Senior Cloud Project Officers will be offered an initial 12-month contract with the view to extend for a further 2 x 12 months and receive a rewarding hourly rate.

The successful Senior Cloud Project Officers will be responsible for, but not limited to:

• Providing high-quality secretariat support for multi-agency governance forums, including agendas, minutes, and follow-up actions.

• Managing diverse project delivery tasks and adapting to changing priorities at short notice.

• Developing executive briefs, program reports, and stakeholder communications.

• Establishing and maintaining project management artefacts in line with endorsed methodologies, including progress, risk, and issue reporting.

The successful Senior Cloud Project Officers will have experience in the following:

• Working on large and complex technology programs using Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and reporting.

• Supporting program or project control boards and quality review meetings.

• Broad understanding of Australian Government information security policies and standards in highly classified environments.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience engaging senior executives and technical teams.
